Ahh . . . luxury travel! What’s that? All you get these days is maybe some stale pretzels.

Amazing that PanAm just seized to exist. The Lockerbie crash did it in . . . Shame. Excellent post and reminder of that travel used to be.

Pan Am used to the the premier transcontinental airline. A long and amazing history which ended too soon. Great article Mr. R.

Pan Am! I used to love this airline and its style and flying experience it would offer. These days are of course long gone and now we are stuck with airlines like Southwest, Jetblue, United and American. God help us.

With the airline industry consolidating even more, the domestic airline market is simple doomed when it comes to comfort, luxury and upgrade offers. Gone are the days of Pan Am.

I love flying. Of course the way flying has become is equivalent to taking the bus. I read your article with envy and sadness . . .

I just got off a plane from Colombo, Sri Lanka and started researching about how I need to proceed in complaining to Air India about the unacceptable coniditon of the plane. I came across your article and had to laugh. I miss the days of amazing service, beautiful meals and a little more class on flights – and that includes Premium Business.
