Beer à la Picasso

Toronto based illustrator and designer Dave Murray has done some amazing work, but I wanted to share with my peeps his Beer Series.  Oops! Does it say anything about my drinking habit?  I really dig his Picasso interpretation of perennial beer favorites such as (Canada’s Labatt 50, Löwenbräu, Pabst Blue Ribbon).  Stylistically he has done a really cool job:

I love the textures and colors and the way he composed these images which are fantastic. Do you all agree? And don’t forget, drink responsibly!

These prints are so smart! I used to drink Pabst – old memories, good memories.

These retro prints are indeed very cool. Excellent job posting them Mr. Roaming.

My favorite is Lowenbrau (sp?). I used to drink this in Amsterdam every time I would visit my family many years ago. I don’t think it exists anymore.

I have never seen these beers before (other than Blue Ribbon). Very cool post indeed.

These are beautifully clever prints. Picasso would have been proud!

As a lover of great beer, this Picasso inspired collection is just what the “doctor ordered”! Thanks!

These are also great pictures. Definitely some old favorites which I don’t think they still exist.
